The team were called by Dyfed Powys Police to assist with the recovery of a couple who were driving south on A470 from Brecon to Merthyr when the driver fell asleep at the wheel leaving the road and descending 30m down steep roadside bank. Police, fire & ambulance also in attendance. Used fire engine as anchor point and lowered 2 stretchers down to recover uninjured occupants. Stretcher was believed to be the safest way to recover the occupants back to the roadside over steep ground despite being uninjured
