Why We Need Your Help
Thanks to our dedicated team of volunteers, we can provide our services free of charge to anyone in need. However, our running costs are high. To operate safely, we must maintain vehicles, training, equipment and our headquarters, all of which require ongoing funding. It costs around £65,000 every year to keep the team running.
Fundraising Events
Our fundraising events are coordinated by Kevin Harding, who works tirelessly to ensure our income meets the team’s needs. Kevin is supported by a small group of dedicated fundraisers, but we always welcome new volunteers. If you’re interested in helping, please contact Kevin.

Other ways to support us
The 200 Club
The 200 Club is another way you can contribute to our fundraising. Members make a monthly contribution to a prize fund, with draws held quarterly. Membership costs £12 a year and gives you a chance to win one of three quarterly cash prizes. To find out how to join, please contact fundraising@breconmrt.co.uk.
Donate in loving memory
Only you know why a memorial donation to the Brecon Mountain Rescue Team would be a fitting tribute to your loved one. Maybe they were a dedicated supporter of BMRT or they loved exploring the Brecon Beacons.
As a volunteer-run charity and emergency rescue service, we rely on your generosity to continue our lifesaving work. Every penny from memorial donations is used where it's needed most, from providing rescue equipment to teaching young people vital safety skills.
There are several ways you can give a gift in memory of someone you love:

· Instead of flowers: suggest donations in the funeral notices.

Leave a gift in your will
Once you’ve taken care of your family and friends, we’d be grateful if you’d consider including a gift in your will to the Brecon Mountain Rescue Team.
A legacy will cost you nothing in your lifetime. It may even reduce inheritance tax on your estate as legacies to charities are tax free. And your gift will have an enormous impact, helping us to rescue more people for years to come.
