Galwad Tîm Dyfed Powys Police had received calls from witnesses to say they had heard someone shouting for help between Corn du and Pen y Fan. Phone find possition of informants established. They then returned to Pont ar Daf and were able to explain their experiences directly to incident manager. Gator and 3 persons dispatched to known to position the informants had reported from. They met the casualty on the tourest path. They carried out an casualty assessment and transported him back to the RV. It was established he did not have a head injury, there was no bleeding. he had become dis-orientated while returning from Pen y Fan and had missed the path from Bwlch Dwynant to Pont ar Daf and continued south down ridge before descending to Neudd Pump house. He then took the wrong track and walked up the Gwaun Taff valley twisting his left knee and later got cramp in his right leg. Called for help but due to communication issues. The word head and leg were confused. After rest he scrambled to the ridge path and slowly made his way down the Pont ar Daf path before meeting BMRT ATV enroute.
