The ambulance service alerted the team via the police to a female with an arm injury. she was a member of a group of four walkers near Pen y Fan when she slipped from standing position onto outstretched left wrist. Team dispatched from Pont ar Daf to meet the group who had continued to walk slowly back down. On meeting assessment was made, pain-killers given and splint applied. The casualty was then evacuated in the team Gator to the back to the car park and family agreed to transport the casualty on to hospital .
