At 16:00 hours the team were alerted to a male who had tripped while descending Pen Y fan and sustained a head injury and suspected broken finger. The casualty was assessed and treated on the path by BMRT team doctor & BMRT Remote Rescue Medical Technician. The casualty's head wound and the injured finger were was cleaned & dressed. The casualty was then walked off the hill with mountain rescue assistance, and transported to Prince Charles Hospital, Merthyr Tydfil by his family.
