Dyfed Powys Police requested the teams assistance at 21:00hrs to rescue two young ladies who went for a walk toward Pen y Fan just before dusk. They left the path on Allt Ddu and traversed around hill onto progressively steeper ground until they couldnt go further. They could not retrace thier own steps as ground too steep. They then called for MR assistance. A hasty party was deployed with team issued personal technical equipment, they located ladies and took them up with safety ropes to the path and walked them back down to starting point.
