Galwad Tîm - Dyfed Powys Police requested the team assistance with a search for a missing person. Police were concerned for the welfare 0f the missng person. Current hypothesis lost or injured. Voluntarily missing. No indications of intention to self harm. Asked by duty Police search advisor (POLSA) to carry out a search around mispers vehicle. 350m North of last known position (LKP) POLSA---.."I WOULD LIKE THE NORTH SIDE OF THE VEHICLE LOCATION TO BE PRIORITISED, DUE TO THE HIGH PEAKS AND RAVINES WITHIN. AFON YSTWYTH ALSO TO BE COVERED.". Team mobilised to RV at Aberdyfi MRT asked to assist. Covered by hasty search 350m around PLS including the gullies within search area, ascending the streams and gullies, as high as was judged safe, by search parties. We were able to cross the river and cover 350m south of PLS. We identified 5 bothies points of interest for further action and were able to drive to the 2 north of the RV. Nothing found - team stood down. The missing person located the following day safe and sound, he had walked out of the search area.
