At 18:30 having been stood down from the previous call the team were alerted to a possible drowning near Gaslbury Bridge.The Casualty had been seen entering the water at approximately 18:32hrs and not reappeared. Fire service (water personnel) and Police first on scene. MRT water teams deployed into river to search approximately 55 mins after casualty last seen. The casualty sadly deceased was located in deep water at approximately 20:27hrs. Body recovered at approximately 20:33hrs. SRTs deployed into the water. The teams under water camera and pole ready but not used before misper located. The etams sled was also available. longtown team drone was ready for deployment once helicopters had left scene. Two longtown and two brecon canoes deployed to search river downstream.
