Dyfed Powys Police requested the teams assistance at 20.25 hours, to recover people from a vehicle stranded in snow. They were unable to start car. They had left home for a drive at 16:00hrs. The location of stranded vehicle was north west of Claerwen Reservoir on a 4x4 track unsuitable for cars. The Alert was received by DPP via the Apple emergency relay service.. The Control was established and both Whiskey (landrover) and Gator were tasked to locate the stranded vehicle along the track. The Vehicle was located and the two persons were transported back to control. The vehicle was left in situ. Both persons were rewarmed at control, debriefed and handed over to DPP for onward transport home.
