A call was received at 19:30 to assist a male off road motorcyclist who had come off his bike and sustained a hip injury. The initial location given using What 3 Words (W3W) put the incident in Alaska! the second W3W put the incident near Glyn neath. Using Phone find the casualty location was found to be on the Begwyns near Painscastle. The team were deployed to the location it was possible to drive right to the casualty site. The casualty was assessed by athe team doctor and given pain relief which had little effect on the patients pain. EMRTS deployed and the medics were able to give the casualty a nerve block to assist with the pain so that he could be stretcherd to the waiting ambulance for transefr to hospital. THe team were back at base at midnight.
