Galwad Tîm - The initial call from the fire service went to WBSRT who were already committed on another incident. Brecon then were asked to respond. A male had gone for a circular walk from the Taffarn y Garreg campsite, the weather was poor and the casualty dropped his paper map and phone in a river and got lost, got stuck in some bog and injured his hip. Working with Mid and West fire, we co located at the Fisheries carpark and dispatched the team gator onto the hill to locate and treat whilst other team members and fire service co located at the lake in support. The initial search team managed to drive in the team gator to within 50mts and walked to the site, the casualty was able to walk (assisted) back to the gator and was driven off the hill. The casualty was rewarmed and checked over by team medic before going back to his accommodation.
