The team were alerted to a group of 3 males and a dog missing in poor weather. One of the party had a sprained ankle and the dog was poorly. The group set out for a circular route from Storey Arms at approx 10:00. Their route took them up to Corn Du and along the Neuadd ridge, dropped down and across to Torpantau, up onto Craig Fan Ddu / Graig Fan Las (were the dog started to become unresponsive and cold, eventually fitting) the group carried on walking towards spaghetti junction, but due to them concentrating on the dog and in poor weather they went off track a. They knew they had gone wrong and turned around but one of the group had twisted his ankle and they were all wet and fatigued and didnt think they could get themselves and the dog off safely ... Hence to 999. Due to the possible 1 hour response to get a hasty party with shelter and warmth they thought they may try and walk slowly in a NE direction. They did this after about half an hour after us making telephone contact with them, A hasty group of 3 MR members where sent to meet, with a second party following behind. A third group was assemble with a stretcher and large cas bag etc. and deployed onto the hill to a low level and hold..... after reaching the missing group and assessing it was decided that there was no need for the stretcher. All the missing group and team members returned to the control RV. Warm drinks and food, The dog however need some reviving, this was with heat packs, towels and blankets, Glucose was given together with some oxygen. We sought advice from the local vet. After an hour or so the dog took a bit of food and slowly started to gain strength...Once the dog had revived all the group set off back home.
