Dyfed Powys Police requested assistance to search for a suicidal male who had left his car near the river Wye. Initial searches on day were carried out by Team members alongside Mid and West FRS and Coastguard Rescue 187 Helicopter. Nothing found on day one. INtoatal the team searched over 6 dyas deplying kayak serach teams, team drones and water trained personnel as well as land searchers. During this period water levels in the river remained high making seraching very difficult. Drone footage was analysed using specialised software. The male's body was found by Dyfed Powys Polices search dogs in a difficult to access position on the sixth day of the search. The team were asked to assist with the body recovery
