A member of the public reported that they had come across a fox hound type dog on Waun Rydd. They held the dog for a short while until it became distressed and ran off NW along the path. The dog had a gash to its leg. The informant is now off the hill and no other people were in the vicinity at the time. It is believed that Brecon Hunt were operating in the Bryn area earlier and this hound may be one of their dogs. They have been phoned to advise them of the hound sighting. No further action required from Brecon MRT
