Police alerted mountain rescue with reports of two hypothermic casualties, one of whom was reported as unresponsive. This incident was in LMRT area but with the potential for a high number of casualties and very poor weather conditions, they alerted Brecon MRT and CBMRT to assist. The casualties were part of a larger group and 2 had succumbed to the cold. Coastguard rescue Helicopter 187 was tasked and was able, with skilfull flying, to evacuate the two serious casualties. MR personnel were deployed to assist the remaining group off the hill. On the route down another person became unwell and had to be stretcherd off the hill.The remaining group members were all escorted safely off the hill by MR team members. A busy multi agency operation
