The team were alerted to a despondent male missing in the Pen y Fan area. Our colleagues in CBMRT were also alerted. Contact was made with the missing person by phone. He reported he had consumed a large amount of whiskey and had Paracetamol. He reported he was too cold to use the Phone find app. He was located under a rocky ledge sheltering from the wind near SE summit of Corn Du. He was very cold very drunk but non aggressive and happy to be assisted by MR Casualty carer , he was escorted off on foot. The stretcher was nearby if needed. It was not required. Casualty examined by doctor and Paramedics and then taken to Prince Charles Hospital Merthyr. It was later reported that he had gone missing from the hospital but was found about an hour later
