Call-Outs 2002

This year's calls have been recorded in accordance with MRC requirements, logging each incident where MR resources have been used, even if only to talk to disoriented groups on mobile phones to get them back onto the right track (a method of sorting a problem far superior to dragging our members away from wives, husbands, lovers or even bosses!). Minor incidents, such as calls where we provide only advice, or where we assist members of the public that we happen to bump into are not recorded.

2002 was the busiest year in the team's history, both in terms of number of calls and man hours. During our 72 calls we provided the police with 3006 man hours of time - that's over 125 days over searching!!
